How it works

Search a PDF in three steps.

Find the clause, the name, the figure — in a 200-page document, in seconds.

  1. 01

    Open your PDF

Drop it in the box or pick it from your device — long documents open in about a second.

  2. 02

    Type what you're looking for

Hit Ctrl+F or pick the Search tool and type. Matches light up in the document as you search.

  3. 03

    Act on what you find

You're in a full editor, not a viewer: jump to a match and edit it, highlight it or annotate it on the spot.

Use cases

What people search PDFs for.

Three moments when the answer is somewhere in the file — and finding it is only half the job.

The answer buried in 200 pages

A 200-page tender pack, the sector's collective agreement, the lease on the office. You need one thing: what it says about late delivery. The table of contents stops at chapter level, and the word turns up in four different places. Type it, jump from one match to the next and read all four, instead of scrolling two hundred pages.

Finding it is not fixing it

The bank details changed. The old IBAN is still in the framework agreement, in the annex and in the page-one footer. The job is not correcting one, it is missing none — and searching is the only way to know there are three and not four. Fix each where it sits, and highlight the two you want someone to check before the file goes out.

Whether the name is there at all

Results lists, shortlists, official gazette notices, an annex with 400 rows: the only thing you want to know is whether your name, your case number or invoice 2024-0871 is in there. Reading a list that long with your eyes is how you miss it. Typing it takes a second, and no matches is an answer too.

Search reads the text the PDF already carries, and it runs in your browser on the copy loaded in memory: nothing is uploaded, and nothing is indexed on anyone's server. That is why a document nobody outside the company may see can be searched here, and why the file on your disk stays untouched until you download.

Toolkit

Real PDF editing.Text, images, signatures, shapes, pages and more.

Purpose-built tools sharing one document, one canvas, and one undo stack. Pick a tool, do the edit, switch — without saving, reopening or jumping between sites.

Why us

Why choose our PDF editor? The details you'll feel every day.

We made deliberate decisions where most online editors hedge — privacy, speed, price transparency, scope. Here's what that looks like in practice.

Your files are yours.

Editing runs in your browser with WebAssembly, no server round-trip. AI does process your document — securely and only to answer you — but we never publish, share or use it for training. Only what you save is synced to the cloud. The only person who sees your file is you.

Fast by design.

Most edits happen client-side in your browser, so they feel instant. When a step genuinely needs the server — heavy compression, encryption — it finishes in seconds. No polling pages, no «we'll email you when it's ready» rituals.

Free to edit. Honest about what's paid.

Editing is completely free — every tool, full quality, no watermark, no account required. The paid part is clear: to download your finished PDF you start a trial, and the plan also unlocks the cloud library. One flat monthly fee, and you cancel it yourself from your account whenever you want.

One editor, not ten websites.

Text, signatures, images, pages, shapes, search, encryption and compression share the same canvas and the same undo stack. It runs on any modern browser — iPad and Android tablets included — with no extension, no native app, no installer trap.
