The conversion runs through a real spreadsheet engine — not a screenshot — that lays your sheets out into printed-style pages, preserving column widths, row heights, number formats, borders and cell styles. The PDF shows the last calculated value of every cell — exactly the numbers you see when you open the file in Excel. The formulas themselves stop being live: nothing recalculates, nothing can be typed over. For an invoice, a budget or a report, that's precisely the point — the figures you approved are the figures everyone reads.

Columns that don't fit one page width split onto consecutive pages, the same way a spreadsheet prints. If you want tighter control over where those breaks fall, narrow the columns or hide the ones you don't need before uploading — the engine honors the sheet's layout as saved.

The workbook's sheets with content are laid out one after another, in the order they appear in the file. If you only want one sheet in the PDF, the quickest route is to remove the others before uploading — or convert everything and delete the unwanted pages in the editor afterwards.

Charts, conditional-formatting colors, cell fills and fonts render as they're shown in the spreadsheet. The engine draws them into the page as fixed graphics, so a dashboard sheet keeps looking like a dashboard — with the advantage that nobody can nudge a series or a filter afterwards.
