What is a WEBP file?
WEBP (2010) is Google's image format for the web: smaller than JPEG and PNG at the same quality, it's what most sites serve today — and what you usually get when you save an image from your browser.
The catch appears off the web: plenty of forms, offices and older apps simply reject .webp. As a PDF, the same image opens, prints and uploads anywhere — and several of them travel as one ordered document.
